MaryClare Donaldson is a compassionate and deeply insightful mental health professional with a Master’s in Social Work and extensive experience in addiction recovery, trauma healing, and attachment-focused therapy. As a Certified Social Worker under supervision, MaryClare brings both clinical expertise and lived empathy to her work, guiding individuals toward lasting transformation and emotional freedom.

Her career spans decades of service—including roles as a substance use disorder therapist, marriage counselor, adolescent therapist, and director of foster care programs—giving her a unique ability to hold space for complex stories with wisdom, grace, and clarity. Whether leading groups or working one-on-one, she is known for integrating creativity, CBT, and spiritual grounding into her therapeutic approach.

MaryClare is currently developing a healing-focused curriculum and writing a personal collection titled A Mother’s Healing from Darkness—a raw and reflective body of work that explores love, loss, recovery, and self-redemption through the eyes of a mother reclaiming her truth. She is also creating an affirmation deck, Release and Let Go, rooted in the themes of emotional release and spiritual renewal.

Her work is anchored in the belief that healing is not linear, but sacred—and that even in the midst of heartbreak, we are still becoming whole.
